Working Accents is committed to helping people communicate more effectively and be heard.
Accent Reduction programs help those with a working command of the English language to bring their foreign or regional accents closer to Standard American English, while increasing workplace efficiency and bringing greater personal confidence both socially and professionally. Small group and individual programs are available.
Stage Fright and Presentation Skills Playshops bring Romper Room to the podium. Before we can “put it all together”, we must give ourselves permission to “tear it all apart”, and do everything “wrong”. By exploring both emotional and physical boundaries without judgement, we are better able to find greater flexibility and confidence in our unique offerings when it matters most. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. Presentation Skills Playshops for the Foreign Professional address everything above with a more focused emphasis on speech delivery, phrasing, inflection, and syllabic accent.
